Jon Jones uploaded an incredible video to Instagram of him chasing away a suspected robber from his property with a shotgun.
The video, which was posted on Sunday night, shows what appears to be security footage from Jones’s driveway at his house in Albuquerque, and the alleged robber can be seen lurking around the UFC star’s fleet of cars.
The alleged robber opens the door of one car and appears to turn on the lights of another. A dog can be heard loudly barking before Jones’s garage door opens up.

Jones explained the incredible video for his followers alongside his post on Instagram
Just moments later, Jones sneaks out from his garage and around one of his cars before the alleged intruder notices him coming and attempts to flee.
Jones then chases after the alleged robber down his driveway while holding what looks like a shotgun.
Jones posted a message about the incident on his Instagram page: ‘Ended up tapping on this guys driver side window with the muzzle of my shotgun last night.
‘Next time you try to rob someone, make sure you’re fast enough to out run them.

‘He’s lucky I’m smart enough to not shoot a man while he’s retreating. People I know times are getting hard but your life isn’t worth a few material possessions.
‘What are your thoughts on this video, what would you have done differently?’
Most of Jones’s followers were shocked but fully supportive of his actions.
One user, agcrocop, wrote: ‘You would have been totally justified. In fact one could argue that even if he is retreating he could still be considered a deadly threat considering he knows your address and is scoping out the place. He may be back packing heat. You’re the (goat emjois) just thought I’d randomly bring that up.’
Another, thehairandthebeardpodcast, said: ‘You’re the goat bro great stuff and I’m sure that man is definitely contemplating future decisions.’
There were some followers who took a different view. jc__157 wrote: ‘Call the police and DEFINITELY don’t chase after him.’
danny_birman couldn’t help but laugh about the incident, saying: ‘Fam imagine robbing a house. You expect some random people, and its goddamn Jon Jones with a shotgun. NOPE’
kaptured_by_kevin expressed his disbelief: ‘Litterally the worst house to pick for a robbery. Baddest man of the planet with a shotgun not gonna end well.’
But corzalenko insisted that the video was ‘Fake and staged’.
One user called abdelrahmanelgarem couldn’t resist taking a dig about the argument over whether Jones or Khabib Nurmegomedov is the greatest UFC star of all time, writing: ‘Ask khabib he will tell you what you should’ve done differently because he is the goat’
Meanwhile, Jones – whose return to the Octagon remains unknown at present – recently hit out at UFC’s decision to confirm Khabib as the sport’s No 1 pound-for-pound fighter.
After the news was confirmed Jones, nicknamed ‘Bones’, took to Twitter saying: ‘This is No 1 bull****.’
Jones has been repeatedly fighting back against the notion that Khabib is the greatest MMA fighter of all time since his win against Justin Gaethje and subsequent retirement at UFC 254.
Jones is irritated by UFC moving Khabib above him in pound-for-pound rankings
Khabib was moved up to top spot in the pound-for-pound list by the UFC last Tuesday
The American is adamant that GOAT status belongs to him but the UFC officially bumped him down a place to No 2 in favour of Khabib.
Jones labelled the decision ‘No 1 bull****’, using a phrase Khabib has become known for, on a tweet from the UFC revealing the change to rankings.
He also added: ‘Unanimous decision over last minute replacement Al Iaquinta to become champion.
‘Conor McGregor is the only opponent he’s ever had that the general public actually knew. Catapulted my man to becoming the best ever, this is hilarious.’
